My Valentine by Martina McBride, a Song for Loving Hearts.

Until yesterday I had no idea that there is a lovely song by Martina McBride, which is titled “My Valentine.” I am not a sounds person. I am an artist, and sometimes a writer, but I am tone-deaf. So for me, a song is as good as its lyrics. I went looking for the lyrics of this song, and…I just fell in love with them ๐Ÿ™‚

The Lyrics of My Valentine – A Song by Martina McBride:

If there were no words,
No way to speak,
I would still hear you.
If there were no tears,
No way to feel inside,
I’d still feel for you.

And even if the sun refused to shine,
Even if romance ran out of rhyme,
You would still have my heart,
Until the end of time,
You’re all I need,
My love, my valentine.

All of my life,
I have been waiting for,
All you give to me,
You’ve opened my eyes,
And showed me how to love unselfishly.

I’ve dreamed of this a thousand times before,
In my dreams I couldn’t love you more,
I will give you my heart,
Until the end of time,
You’re all I need,
My love, my valentine.

And even if the sun refused to shine,
Even if romance ran out of rhyme,
You would still have my heart,
Until the end of time,
’cause all I need,
Is you, my valentine.

You’re all I need,
My love, my valentine!

This perhaps is the most beautiful Valentine’s Day song there is. “Even if romance ran out of rhyme, you’d still have my heart, until the end of time, all I need is you, my Valentine.” This is exactly how I feel about my Valentine, and I know that this exactly how you feel about yours.

I shall return with five stories…soon.

Until then, keep falling in love ๐Ÿ™‚
